Ginger Seared Ahi

2 fresh sushi grade Wild Ahi Tuna steaks

Baron’s Sesame Ginger Blend seafood seasoning (Whole Foods!!)

2 tbspn tamari

Sprinkle all sides of tuna steaks with tamari first, then coat generously with seasoning blend. The tamari should help the seasoning to stick to the fish. Heat a non-stick skillet to medium-high to high heat. (you can use a dash of olive or sesame oil if you prefer). Using tongs, place tuna steak in skillet to sear for about 2 minutes on each side (include all sides of the steak). Ideally this dish should be served rare, sashimi style. Slice thinly and serve with wasabe and fresh ginger!
