Grassfed Beef Caprese Burgers (or sub Veggie Burger)

1 pound Grass Fed lean ground beef

2 whole wheat hamburger buns

2 large slices fresh mozzarella

½ c fresh basil leaves

2 slices heirloom or beefsteak tomato

1 tspn garlic salt

1 tspn fresh chopped garlic

2 tbspn balsamic vinegar 

Mix beef, fresh garlic, garlic salt, and 1 tbspn balsamic vinegar. Form beef into 2 patties. Grill on medium-high heat using grill rack so excess fat drips off the patties. Cook to desired temperature. Place cooked patties on bun, top with mozzarella, basil, tomato, and remaining balsamic vinegar. 

*Veggie patty can be substituted
